# Use the way.space catalog

way.space (https://way.space) is a credibility-gated catalog of AI-agent builder
tooling. Use it when you need to **find a tool for a goal, vet a tool you found in the
wild before installing it, or compare alternatives**. It is not a safety service: every
result summarizes public signals and publisher identity; way.space asserts identity and
signals, never safety.

## Read the grade correctly

Each entry carries `grade` (`A+ · A · B · C · D`) and `score` (0–100). Both are **derived
GitHub credibility** — repository health, curated provenance, third-party audit presence,
freshness and gated-community signals — **never a user rating**. `null` means unscored,
not zero; `minGrade`/`minScore` filters exclude unscored entries. `scoreWhy[]` (or the
fuller `scoreComponents` on a single tool) says _why_; read it before acting on the letter.

`kind` is one of `harness | framework | tool | app | platform | blueprint`; `category`
is a function (`coding`, `research`, `qa`, …). A 400 body lists the valid vocab. The

Stateless streamable HTTP, no session, no auth. Tools: `search_tools`, `resolve` (a
registry URL, package name or `owner/repo` → its catalog entity and known listings;
call it before installing anything found in the wild), `audit` (signals report for a
ref), `alternatives` (similar published tools), `compose_stack`, `list_protocols`, and
`publish_blueprint` (token-gated).
