Google skills is a collection of Agent Skills for Google products, mostly Google Cloud. Each skill packages instructions that a coding agent loads to carry out a task on a specific product, such as creating a GKE cluster, tuning a model on Agent Platform, writing a BigQuery optimization workflow, or triaging a security alert in Google SecOps. When you add the collection, you pick individual skills or all of them, the agents to configure, and a project or global scope.
Skills are grouped by area: getting started with Google Cloud (authentication, onboarding, foundation setup), multi-product solution skills (agent deployment, hybrid search on AlloyDB, retrieval-augmented generation for enterprise search), AI and ML (Agent Platform, the Gemini APIs, and Genkit in Dart, Go, JavaScript, and Python), infrastructure (GKE, Cloud Storage, Filestore, load balancing), databases and analytics (BigQuery, AlloyDB, Bigtable, Cloud SQL, Spanner, managed Airflow), developer and management tools (gcloud, Cloud Build, Cloud Monitoring, Cloud Logging, Cloud Trace), the six Well-Architected Framework pillars, security and identity, web and app hosting (Cloud Run, Firebase), advertising, and Google Analytics APIs. A Google Skill Finder skill helps an agent locate the right skill.
The repository also bundles Google product plugins, which combine skills with MCP servers, for the Claude Code, Codex, and Antigravity CLI agent harnesses. Related skill sets for the Agent Development Kit, Android, Dart, Flutter, Firestore, and Google Maps Platform live in separate repositories.
