Hermes-Agent Mobile installs the Hermes Agent framework on a phone so the agent runs locally on Android through Termux or on iOS through iSH, with no laptop or cloud server involved. API calls go from the phone directly to the model provider, and the project targets low-cost models such as xiaomi/mimo-v2.5 via OpenRouter.
On Android a single install script sets up Debian, Firefox, and Hermes, then offers a quick setup (OpenRouter key and Telegram bot token, with the gateway started automatically) or the standard Hermes setup wizard for custom providers, models, and gateways. Once running, you interact through the CLI or through Telegram, where the agent accepts voice messages, images, and files; several personas can run at once as separate bots and be grouped into one Telegram chat, each responding when mentioned. The iOS path is narrower: iSH lacks the subprocess syscalls the gateway needs, so Telegram, voice, and cron are unavailable there, and Hermes runs in CLI mode with memory, skills, file operations, and web search.
