OKX Agent Trade Kit connects AI assistants to an OKX exchange account through the Model Context Protocol (MCP), so you describe a trade or query in natural language and the agent calls the matching tool. It ships as two standalone packages: an MCP server for Claude Desktop, Cursor, Claude Code, VS Code, and other MCP clients, and a CLI for operating OKX from a terminal.
Both run as a local process with API keys stored only on your machine and no server or database. Safety controls include a read-only mode that exposes query tools only, per-module filtering so an agent sees only the tools you enable, and a built-in rate limiter. Market data tools need no authentication.
