Pebble is a static progressive web app for chatting with AI agents. It runs entirely in the browser and connects to the agent directly over HTTP, so there is no backend service, no account, and nothing to install beyond opening a URL. It can be added to a phone or desktop home screen and works on both.
Conversations are laid out like a messaging app: sessions sorted by recency with status icons and unread counts. The agent can push interactive UI blocks such as buttons, forms, and charts into the thread, rendered through a generative-UI layer. At present Pebble talks only to Hermes agents through the Hermes HTTP API with SSE streaming; support for other hosts is on the roadmap. It ships as a single self-contained binary that bundles the web app and a Hermes plugin with a setup skill. The project is in alpha and subject to breaking changes.
