Junior is a Slack bot runtime built on Hono. You mention it in a Slack thread with a question or a task, and it investigates across connected tools (errors, deploys, logs, code changes, issues, and docs), reports what it found with links back to each source, and can carry out the next step, such as drafting an update, opening an issue, or making an approved change.
The runtime is split into packages: a core package with the agent, the Slack integration, and an Agent Client Protocol (ACP) runtime, a lightweight plugin API, and an authenticated dashboard for runtime diagnostics. Capabilities come from plugins, each covering one service. Deployment on Vercel is documented.
