Astron Agent is an open-source platform for building and running agentic workflows in an enterprise setting. It combines workflow orchestration, model management, AI and MCP tool integration, robotic process automation, and team collaboration in one deployment, and is built on the same core technology as iFLYTEK's hosted Astron Agent platform.
Model access is designed for several scales: API-based access for rapid validation, through to on-premises model-as-a-service clusters. The tool layer draws on the iFLYTEK Open Platform catalogue and supports MCP tools and custom extensions, while the RPA integration lets workflows call automation nodes directly so an agent's decisions can act on internal systems. Published workflows can be called from an existing application over HTTP or server-sent events.
Self-hosting runs through Docker Compose, including a Casdoor authentication service, with the frontend served behind an nginx proxy; Helm charts for Kubernetes are listed as under development. A hosted environment is available for creating and managing agents without deploying anything. The platform is written mainly in Java and Python and is listed in the CNCF Landscape.
