01 / Summary

About No Mistakes.

no-mistakes is a local Git proxy that sits in front of your real remote. You push a branch to it instead of to origin, and it spins up a disposable worktree, runs an AI-driven validation pipeline, forwards the branch to the configured push target only after every check passes, and opens a pull request for you. Your working tree stays untouched while the pipeline runs in isolation.

The pipeline rebases the branch onto fresh upstream, runs an AI review for bugs and tech debt, executes regression and new tests, keeps documentation current, and applies a linter and formatter. Each step either passes or stops with a finding. Safe, mechanical fixes are applied automatically, while anything that touches your intent is escalated for you to approve, fix, or skip. The change reaches the push target only once every local gate is green.

After the push it opens the pull request, watches CI, and repairs CI failures through a guarded force-push path, but publishes a repair only when it can prove the repair builds on the head you already reviewed, otherwise sending it back through review first. The gate runs through whichever coding agent you configure, and three entry points trigger the same pipeline: a push to the gate remote, a terminal app with a setup wizard, and a /no-mistakes agent skill that lets a coding agent do a task and gate it.

  • Git proxy gate: push to no-mistakes instead of origin, and the branch is forwarded only after every check passes
  • Isolated pipeline: runs in a disposable worktree without disrupting your working tree
  • Validation stages: rebase onto upstream, AI review, regression and new tests, documentation, and lint or format
  • Findings model: safe fixes applied automatically, intent-touching changes escalated to approve, fix, or skip
  • CI repair: watches CI and repairs failures through a guarded force-push that must prove it builds on the reviewed head
  • Agent-agnostic: works with Claude, Codex, Grok, OpenCode, Pi, and other coding agents, with ordered fallbacks
  • Three entry points: a push to the gate remote, a terminal app with a wizard, and a /no-mistakes agent skill
  • Automatic PRs: opens the pull request with no manual push or hand-written PR body
