OpenCode Quota is an OpenCode plugin that shows how much of each AI provider's quota, budget, or balance you have used, along with token usage over time. Reports render in OpenCode's interface (a sidebar panel, popup toasts, and a status line) rather than in the conversation, so checking usage does not consume the model's context window.
Most providers are picked up automatically from the logins you already have in OpenCode. Usage data comes from each provider's remote API where one exists, or from a local estimate or official CLI otherwise. Token reports cover today, the last 24 hours, 7 days, 30 days (with pricing from models.dev), a session including its subagents, all local history, or a custom date range.
Pre-configured providers span American and Chinese services, for personal and business accounts:
| Region | Providers |
|---|---|
| American | Anthropic (Claude), Chutes AI, Cursor, Gemini CLI, GitHub Copilot, Google AGY, Kilo Gateway, NanoGPT, Ollama Cloud, OpenAI, OpenCode Go, OpenCode Zen, OpenRouter, Synthetic, xAI SuperGrok |
| Chinese | Alibaba Coding Plan, Alibaba Personal Token Plan, DeepSeek, Kimi Code, MiniMax Token Plan, Xiaomi MiMo, Z.ai Coding Plan, Zhipu Coding Plan |
A provider that is not listed can be added as a custom provider from its quota API or a local estimate. A terminal command shows quota and setup status even with OpenCode closed, and the data can be exported as JSON or metrics for scripts and external status bars. When a request hits a limit and the provider's window is used up, OpenCode retries after the reset. The plugin is a third-party project, not affiliated with OpenCode.
Features
- In-app quota display: sidebar panel, popup toasts, and a status line inside the OpenCode terminal UI
- Slash commands: quota, setup status, pricing refresh, and token reports typed directly in OpenCode, also available in its web and desktop clients
- Token reports: usage for today, rolling 24 hours, 7 days, 30 days with pricing, per session with subagents, all history, or between two dates
- Multi-provider coverage: over 20 pre-configured American and Chinese providers, most detected automatically from existing OpenCode logins
- Custom providers: track any other provider from its quota API or a local estimate, with a preview before saving
- Terminal access: shows quota and setup problems from the command line with OpenCode closed
- External integration: JSON output, an export file, and metrics for scripts and status bars
- Retry at reset: requests that hit a used-up quota window are retried once the window resets, and this can be turned off
- Display options: show used or remaining amounts, reset style, and a runs-out estimate
