Lindy is a hosted AI assistant for teams that connects to a company's tools and performs work across them. It operates in three modes: answering questions from connected tools and meeting records, executing multi-step workflows, and producing artifacts such as decks, spreadsheets, and reports.
Agents are assembled from triggers and actions. A trigger can be a schedule, an incoming email, a Slack message, or an event in a connected app; the actions that follow run across Gmail, Slack, Notion, HubSpot, and other integrations, and any MCP server can be attached for tools outside the built-in catalogue. Read-only lookups run automatically, while actions with outside impact, such as sending an email, updating a ticket, or posting to a channel, wait for a named approver.
Lindy lives where the team already works: Slack channels and direct messages, a Gmail inbox, iMessage, a Chrome extension, and video meetings on Zoom, Google Meet, and Microsoft Teams, where it joins as a participant to record and transcribe. Team memory is kept in plain files that you can edit directly. Plans meter usage in monthly credits, and the enterprise tier adds SSO, SCIM, and a HIPAA BAA.
